When I chose this month's theme, Rethinking the way we make - and why?, I have to say, Remaking the way I think - and why? wasn't on the radar! But here we are ... and I want to share some of it all with you.

A recent chat with my dear friend Anisa Johnny, got me thinking differently. The fact she's a brilliant Sustainability Coach likely helped. 🤩 Then a few other 'prompts' made it clear things have to change around here. Returning to my first love is of course a big start.

What do I love?

What do I love more than designing fabrics together with kindred spirit creatives?

There's only one thing: Seeing heritage handweavers and their communities thrive through continuous orders - it makes my traditional-textile-luvin' heart sing! 🙌🫶🙌

So, if you're curious, or holding off from trying handwoven fabrics for whatever reason, now's the time to jump! It'll be a minimum order of just $30, with a minimum of 1 yard per fabric. Apart from some specialty textiles, there's stock of approx. 20-80 gorgeous yards of those listed. Including, shhh! ^🤫some not even on our website^🤫

AND - many fabrics can be re-ordered (they'll be marked) - so these are not your wholesale 'deadstock' looking for a home! Go ahead and make those samples with peace of mind.
